Nicolae Ştefănoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The supporters of FC Pirciu booed when Rimeti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Schipor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mircea Alucai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vintilă Zegreanu in the 4th minute of play. If Sever Iorgovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vintilă Zegreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Mircea Alucai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Vintilă Zegreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pirciu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vintilă Zegreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of FC Pirciu booed when Rimeti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Călin Popoacă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vali Bobariu didn't quite understand what happened when in the 17 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The supporters of Rimeti booed when FC Pirciu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vintilă Zegreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavian Isăilă made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Adrian Beniuc sent off a good shot on target. Iustin Păsărin hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. FC Pirciu's Octavian Isăilă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Pirciu from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vintilă Zegreanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ion Popoacă struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Mircea Alucai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pirciu. After 55 played minutes Rimeti got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Schipor. Mircea Alucai came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Pirciu's Vintilă Zegreanu. But to his dismay, Vintilă Zegreanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of FC Pirciu booed when Rimeti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolae Ştefănoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Beniuc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th match minute, FC Pirciu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustin Păsărin to maneuver through the defense. Vintilă Zegreanu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Mircea Alucai skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Horaţiu Ilica hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Aurel Florei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Octavian Isăilă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC Pirciu getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Sever Iorgovan hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Ion Popoacă notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Rimeti's Mircea Alucai. Mircea Alucai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aurel Florei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Octavian Isăilă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chants of FC Pirciu echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Rimeti had held the ball for most of the match.
