Spectators: 7760 (Terracing: 5821, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 154) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Napoleon Gerlach got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Sever Iorgovan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pirciu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sever Iorgovan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iustin Păsărin kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Vintilă Zegreanu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ştefan Zăhărescu, 1-0. 13 minutes into the game, Sever Iorgovan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ştefan Zăhărescu. Sever Iorgovan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Vintilă Zegreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Ştefan Zăhărescu made a huge save. After having played for 20 minutes, Sever Iorgovan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pirciu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sever Iorgovan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vintilă Zegreanu took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ştefan Zăhărescu. Ştefan Zăhărescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Ion Popoacă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes FC Pirciu got a freekick which was hit by Sever Iorgovan. In the 35th minute, Pompiliu Trif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ion Popoacă blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ştefan Zăhărescu having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Vintilă Zegreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ştefan Zăhărescu was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vintilă Zegreanu made a kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Pirciu's Vintilă Zegreanu got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Sever Iorgovan made a precise shot to the right of Ştefan Zăhărescu. Dodocani UFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Vintilă Zegreanu hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Ştefan Zăhărescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ion Popoacă in the 62nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Ionel Taşcă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dodocani UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionel Taşcă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavian Isăilă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes into the match, FC Pirciu's goalkeeper Octavian Isăilă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Napoleon Gerlach. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Vintilă Zegreanu sped through Dodocani UFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ştefan Zăhărescu. In the 71st minute Ion Popoacă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ştefan Zăhărescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC Pirciu's Ion Popoacă in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dodocani UFC's goalie prevented a goal. Dodocani UFC's Ionel Taşcă pulled a muscle in his leg after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 77th minute, Adrian Iacobescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Dodocani UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ion Popoacă came free, but Ştefan Zăhărescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Iustin Păsărin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ştefan Zăhărescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Iustin Păsărin's late challenge caught a Dodocani UFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iustin Păsărin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dodocani UFC booed when FC Pirciu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustin Păsărin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ion Popoacă charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ion Popoacă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Pirciu getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ion Popoacă hit a great ball. Ştefan Zăhărescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vintilă Zegreanu's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute Vintilă Zegreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ştefan Zăhărescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Pirciu had played much better football throughout.
