The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Buzescu got free with Petruț Pipirig in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Petruț Pipirig made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Sebastian Buzescu sent off a good shot on target. Codruț Vasiloiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavril Beca in the 8th minute of the match. Sebastian Buzescu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Petruț Pipirig firmly grabbed it by the left post. 11 minutes into the match, Rareș Arghir dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Petruț Pipirig, 1-0. Codruț Vasiloiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavril Beca, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Sebastian Buzescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Sebastian Buzescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petruț Pipirig. Avintu AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Buzescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Codruț Vasiloiu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 41 minutes, Iordache Povară mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santul FC and the Avintu AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Santul FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Avintu AC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
