With an extended leg and a bit of luck Șerban Baran prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Zăgănescu to make the kick off. Ciprian Cârneci might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iustin Hârciog. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciprian Cârneci ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Dos Hermanas booed when Manchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Nicorici didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Filip Tirulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergiu Bungescu during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lucian Iosif blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Șerban Baran having to make a save. Șerban Baran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucian Iosif, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. When the final whistle sounded Dos Hermanas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Manchester United.
