Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Uliesul's Nicolae Şania started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eliodor Balaban hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 11th match minute, Uliesul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Şania to maneuver through the defense. When Alin Dejeu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 12 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Fábio Veiga was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Eliodor Balaban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolae Şania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Gilau defense, Nicolae Şania kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Suşu. The Gilau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Suşu should have stopped the shot. Nicolae Şania kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Eliodor Balaban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petre Zub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alin Dejeu was the one to do the kick off. Fábio Veiga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Uliesul's zone, Alin Dejeu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Veiga came out of the goal and Alin Dejeu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolae Şania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Alin Dejeu sped through Uliesul's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fábio Veiga. Justo Buinton's late challenge caught a Gilau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justo Buinton helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Uliesul fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Gilau a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Codrin Târban, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Uliesul's Fábio Veiga. 4-3. In the 93rd minute, Mihnea Bala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Uliesul's Eliodor Balaban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Suşu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Uliesul's Fábio Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alin Dejeu in the 98th minute of play.
