With a little luck, Manchester United's Iustin Hârciog got control of the ball when Codrin Alb tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Iustin Hârciog managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Bradicesti's Ioan Voina fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 45th match minute, Bradicesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihnea Olariu to maneuver through the defense. Ioan Voina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustin Hârciog having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Sinulescu in the 68th minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Iustin Hârciog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Bradicesti's goalkeeper Marcu Alecu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergiu Bungescu. 76 minutes into the game, Bradicesti's Iurie Ailioaiei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iustin Hârciog made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Bradicesti's Iurie Ailioaiei got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Codrin Alb ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iustin Hârciog was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Codrin Alb might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iustin Hârciog. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Codrin Alb ran back to his position shaking his head. After 97 played minutes Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by Petre Bodiu.
