Lucrețiu Meleșcanu didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 3rd minute. UFC Piluganii's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Dumitru Aldulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Valeriu Anastasiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelian Platon having to interfere. 22 minutes in the game Octavian Horia did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ştefan Dijmărescu. 25 minutes into the match, C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Horea Udroiu came free, but Stelian Platon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Horea Udroiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UFC Piluganii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- the free kick. In the 35th minute, Horea Udroiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ştefan Dijmărescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ionel Maghear. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ştefan Dijmărescu ran back to his position shaking his head. After 40 minutes of play, UFC Piluganii's Valeriu Anastasiu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stelian Platon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ionel Maghear took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ştefan Dijmărescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, UFC Piluganii's Valeriu Anastasiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stelian Platon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 47 minutes, Octavian Horia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- and the UFC Piluganii players grew even worse after the yellow card. Octavian Horia hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucrețiu Meleșcanu to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- booed when UFC Piluganii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iulian Cămătaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 played minutes C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Nica. Ionel Maghear made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Manu in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute Lucrețiu Meleșcanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelian Platon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valer Buhăescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, UFC Piluganii's Constantin Mitrofan got a free kick in the 91st minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. UFC Piluganii had won after a very even match.
