Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Manchester United's Sebastian Zăgănescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Manchester United's Sebastian Zăgănescu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Suşu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Gilau booed when Manchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nae Damian didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alin Dejeu made a kick off. Sergiu Bungescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sebastian Zăgănescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th minute, Sebastian Zăgănescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petre Zub took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iustin Hârciog. Iustin Hârciog dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Petre Zub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Manchester United players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
