Dumitru Aldulescu started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Avintu AC's Cristi Baba got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Constantin Stroie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avintu AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantin Stroie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stelian Platon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petruț Pipirig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Tremurici, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Gheorghe Manu fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s protests and gave Gheorghe Manu a yellow card for diving instead. Gheorghe Manu kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Aldulescu in the 26th minute of play forced Avintu AC's goalkeeper Petruț Pipirig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stelian Platon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Stroie in the 27th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Gavril Beca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stelian Platon. C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavril Beca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Stelian Platon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Stroie in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Cristi Baba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stelian Platon. C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristi Baba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 43 minutes of play, Avintu AC's Cristi Baba made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stelian Platon was left in no man's land by his defense there! The C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Avintu AC were winning 0-5.

Cristi Baba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stelian Platon came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristi Baba slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 55th minute. Petruț Pipirig didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dumitru Aldulescu went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Stelian Platon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Stroie in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Avintu AC booed when C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rob Schneider didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gheorghe Manu hit a great ball. With a little luck, C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s Stelian Platon got control of the ball when Gavril Beca tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Avintu AC's Constantin Stroie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stelian Platon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. In the 76th minute, Remus Murgescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Ştefan Zăgănescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gavril Beca got free with Stelian Platon in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stelian Platon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Stroie in the 85th minute of play. Cazimir Basarab's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stelian Platon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Stelian Platon made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Gavril Beca sent off a good shot on target. Cristi Baba came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stelian Platon could save by the left post. 96 minutes into the match, C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Stroie came free, but Stelian Platon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Avintu AC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Avintu AC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
