Cornel Stana was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rareș Arghir. With an all-out effort, Santul FC's Cornel Stana threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cătălin Marica, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cornel Stana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Iulian in the 10th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, FuRaCiOsUl's goalkeeper Cornel Stana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodor Burileanu. Romeo Buteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Gorjanu in the 17th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Cornel Stana successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 22 minutes into the game, FuRaCiOsUl's Didrik Olsrud nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeo Buteanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 26 minutes into the game, when Nae Penciulescu put in a rough tackle. Nae Penciulescu hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Marcel Iulian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Cornel Stana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FuRaCiOsUl booed when Santul FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihail Goicea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manole Bălțăteanu succeeded in the game's 34th minute to get real power on a long shot . Santul FC's Romeo Buteanu hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-2! Marcel Iulian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Cornel Stana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phoenix Phoenix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeo Buteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Gorjanu in the 46th minute of play.

The wind increased when Cătălin Marica made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Mihail Dragota cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Cornel Stana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of FuRaCiOsUl booed when Santul FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Iulian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Cătălin Marica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornel Stana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FuRaCiOsUl's zone, Cătălin Marica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornel Stana came out of the goal and Cătălin Marica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cornel Stana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Iulian, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute Mihail Dragota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornel Stana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th match minute, FuRaCiOsUl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narcis Şoiman to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Phoenix Phoenix reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Romeo Buteanu. The goal made the score 1-3. After a rather tough play, FuRaCiOsUl's Didrik Olsrud got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 90th match minute, Santul FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rareș Arghir to maneuver through the defense. Alin Gorjanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Romeo Buteanu made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Narcis Şoiman could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Romeo Buteanu however easily saved by the left post. The FuRaCiOsUl supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FuRaCiOsUl would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
