When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rareș Arghir sped through Manchester United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iustin Hârciog. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rareș Arghir in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iustin Hârciog saved Manchester United from getting behind. When Santul FC's Rareș Arghir in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manchester United's goalie prevented a goal. Marcel Iulian might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iustin Hârciog. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcel Iulian ran back to his position shaking his head. Rareș Arghir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Iustin Hârciog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marcel Iulian came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Santul FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Iulian couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Marcu Tănăsie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Găvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergiu Bungescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Felix Găvan made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Rareș Arghir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iustin Hârciog was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Santul FC's Felix Găvan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcu Tănăsie in the 43rd minute of play. Sergiu Bungescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Găvan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergiu Bungescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Maxim Lupoi's late challenge caught a Manchester United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maxim Lupoi helped the player get up and apologised. Maxim Lupoi hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Santul FC's Felix Găvan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Santul FC from getting a goal against them. The Manchester United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Santul FC were winning 0-2.

Ivan Zăgănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Rareș Arghir was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 55 minutes into the match, Marcel Iulian notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Manchester United's Iustin Hârciog. Iustin Hârciog was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iustin Hârciog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rareș Arghir in the 63rd minute of play. After 81 played minutes Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by Marcu Tănăsie. 83 minutes into the match, Ivan Zăgănescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Găvan. Santul FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Zăgănescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 89 minutes into the match, Santul FC's Maxim Lupoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iustin Hârciog narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Marcu Tănăsie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 91 minutes, Marcel Iulian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santul FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcel Iulian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
