In the 6th minute Ion Aanicăi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristi Neagu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudiu Bădescu in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristi Neagu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Viorel Zgîrţa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristi Neagu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match, Ionică Harbuz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Remus Marchiș was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Remus Marchiș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toader Stolniceanu in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Zgîrţa in the 35th minute of play forced Surda's goalkeeper Cristi Neagu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Surda defense, Claudiu Bădescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristi Neagu. The Surda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristi Neagu should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Surda's goal looked a bit too open when Cristi Eftimescu came free, but Cristi Neagu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristi Eftimescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Claudiu Bădescu notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Surda's Cristi Neagu. Cristi Neagu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viorel Zgîrţa to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Surda's Cristi Neagu got control of the ball when Claudiu Bădescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristi Neagu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristi Eftimescu in the 63rd minute of the match. Cristi Neagu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion Aanicăi, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Viorel Zgîrţa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristi Neagu having to interfere. In the 70th minute, minerul -MM-'s Claudiu Bădescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristi Neagu. Cristi Neagu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 74th minute, Cristi Eftimescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristi Neagu. The goal made the score 0-6. After 85 played minutes minerul -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Cristi Eftimescu. minerul -MM-'s Costel Marghescu pulled a muscle in his back after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 87th match minute, Surda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigel Fărcășan to maneuver through the defense. Claudiu Bădescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Cristi Neagu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
