Spectators: 7742 (Terracing: 5808, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) CFR Cluj MZ's Augustin Oprișor started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. CFR Cluj MZ were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Dezesti CF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gigi Donecea took the corner. The corner led CFR Cluj MZ's Gigi Donecea to fire away a dangerous shot which Ilie Dridu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. CFR Cluj MZ's Cătălin Pancu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doru Mercea in the 8th minute of play. Doru Mercea scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cătălin Pancu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cătălin Pancu came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Dezesti CF's Iacob Zgabei. But to his dismay, Iacob Zgabei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 21 minutes of play, Dezesti CF's Iacob Zgabei made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cătălin Pancu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cătălin Pancu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Dordea in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, CFR Cluj MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Zgabei came free, but Cătălin Pancu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Gigel Dordea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cătălin Pancu. CFR Cluj MZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigel Dordea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Cătălin Pancu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iacob Zgabei in the 37th minute of play. Cătălin Pancu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Dordea, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Iacob Zgabei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Pancu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CFR Cluj MZ's Cătălin Pancu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Dordea in the 41st minute of play. In the 46th minute Iacob Zgabei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Pancu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Eric Ghiorman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CFR Cluj MZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dezesti CF the free kick. The supporters of Dezesti CF booed when CFR Cluj MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Ghiorman didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iacob Zgabei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iacob Zgabei got free with Cătălin Pancu in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Eric Ghiorman was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. In the 59th match minute, CFR Cluj MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Ghiorman to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Dezesti CF's Nichifor Ieremia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcis Crăiță in the 66th minute of play forced CFR Cluj MZ's goalkeeper Cătălin Pancu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cătălin Pancu was a little too slow when Doru Mercea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-9. Cătălin Pancu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doru Mercea went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. Doru Mercea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Pancu having to interfere. CFR Cluj MZ's Cătălin Pancu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doru Mercea in the 79th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Nichifor Ieremia took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Cătălin Pancu to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, CFR Cluj MZ's Cătălin Pancu got control of the ball when Iacob Zgabei tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, CFR Cluj MZ's goalkeeper Cătălin Pancu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iacob Zgabei. Cătălin Pancu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Dordea in the 90th minute of play. Cătălin Pancu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doru Mercea, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The CFR Cluj MZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dezesti CF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
