Spectators: 7300 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 50) Dezesti CF's Iacob Zgabei started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Mihăiţă Vintilescu fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dezesti CF's protests and gave Mihăiţă Vintilescu a yellow card for diving instead. 10 minutes into the match, Sofriceni's goalkeeper Sebastian Bogza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doru Mercea. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doru Mercea got free with Sebastian Bogza in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastian Bogza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Dordea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iacob Zgabei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Sebastian Bogza made a huge save. After 23 played minutes Sofriceni got a freekick which was hit by Moise Mazăre. In the 27th minute, Denis Chiriac had to leave the field with a concussion. 27 minutes into the game, Bernardo Melani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sofriceni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dezesti CF the free kick. Dezesti CF made a substitution. Alexandru Copil replaced Denis Chiriac. The supporters of Dezesti CF booed when Sofriceni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Melani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match, Gigel Dordea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastian Bogza saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sofriceni's Vasile Luțu got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Bogza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gigel Dordea went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 42nd match minute, Dezesti CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Vintilescu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Dezesti CF booed when Sofriceni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Melani didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 played minutes Sofriceni got a freekick which was hit by Flavius Frânculescu. In the 47th minute of the match Alexandru Copil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Bogza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bernardo Melani made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sofriceni's Costin Ploieșteanu got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Sebastian Bogza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iacob Zgabei in the 55th minute of the match. Costin Ploieșteanu hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Gigel Dordea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Bogza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iacob Zgabei in the 58th minute of the match. Sebastian Bogza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Dordea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iacob Zgabei's late challenge caught a Sofriceni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iacob Zgabei helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Dezesti CF getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Iacob Zgabei hit a great ball. The supporters of Dezesti CF booed when Sofriceni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Melani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Bogza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iacob Zgabei in the 66th minute of play. Sofriceni were furious when Flavius Frânculescu was red carded, 68 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Sofriceni's Flavius Frânculescu got a free kick in the 69th minute. Alexandru Copil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastian Bogza. Sofriceni's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Vasile Luțu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sofriceni's Isac Lăzăroiu got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornel Oroveanu took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Bogza. Sebastian Bogza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Sebastian Bogza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doru Mercea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Gigel Dordea made a precise shot to the right of Sebastian Bogza. Sofriceni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Mercea in the 88th minute of play forced Sofriceni's goalkeeper Sebastian Bogza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes of play, Dezesti CF's Gigel Dordea made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Bogza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dezesti CF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
