In the 18th minute, Eliodor Cămătaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toader Stolniceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vali Encea in the 22nd minute of play forced Surda's goalkeeper Cristi Neagu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toader Stolniceanu hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Surda's Cristi Neagu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Surda from getting a goal against them. Vali Encea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristi Neagu came out and tried to block the shot, but Vali Encea slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 25th minute. Cristi Neagu made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Ulpiano Herbruger sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliodor Cămătaru in the 29th minute of play forced Surda's goalkeeper Cristi Neagu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, UPB FC's Eliodor Cămătaru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Cristi Neagu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliodor Cămătaru in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vali Encea got free with Cristi Neagu in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristi Neagu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Virgil Pășcuțoiu went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Cristi Neagu came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by UPB FC's Ulpiano Herbruger. But to his dismay, Ulpiano Herbruger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliodor Cămătaru to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Toader Stolniceanu took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Vintilă Minda to make any attempt to save it. In the 56th minute Virgil Pășcuțoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristi Neagu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The UPB FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Cristi Neagu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 93 minutes, Eliodor Cămătaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UPB FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliodor Cămătaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristi Neagu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulpiano Herbruger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. UPB FC fully deserved thier win.
