Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristi Corbeanu kicked off to start the match. UPB FC's Vintilă Minda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristi Corbeanu in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to UPB FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Virgil Pășcuțoiu hit a great ball. Vintilă Minda was a little too slow when Cristi Corbeanu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. UPB FC's Vintilă Minda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristi Corbeanu in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Codruț Neagoe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vintilă Minda, 2-0. If Eliodor Cămătaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in UPB FC's zone, Petrică Grindeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vintilă Minda came out of the goal and Petrică Grindeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vintilă Minda didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. 26 minutes into the match, UPB FC's goalkeeper Vintilă Minda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petrică Grindeanu. In the 29th minute, Petrică Grindeanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carpeni Athletic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Ulpiano Herbruger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Cristi Corbeanu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vintilă Minda, 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliodor Cămătaru to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Petrică Grindeanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carpeni Athletic and the UPB FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, İsa Şerhenk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vintilă Minda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petrică Grindeanu in the 55th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgil Pășcuțoiu in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horaţiu Bogrea saved Carpeni Athletic from getting behind. Horaţiu Bogrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulpiano Herbruger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horaţiu Bogrea made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Ulpiano Herbruger sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute Cristi Corbeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Minda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, UPB FC's İsa Şerhenk got a free kick in the 65th minute. When UPB FC's Eliodor Cămătaru in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carpeni Athletic's goalie prevented a goal. 70 minutes into the game, Manuel Cândreanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carpeni Athletic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UPB FC the free kick. In the 70th minute, one of Carpeni Athletic:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carpeni Athletic. In the 75th minute Cristi Corbeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Minda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matei Şunda succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 6-3 in the 79th playminute. Horaţiu Bogrea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matei Şunda in the 82nd minute. After 84 minutes, Cristi Corbeanu made it 7-3 with a short kick to the right side. UPB FC's Vintilă Minda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Manuel Cândreanu scored 8-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vintilă Minda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vintilă Minda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristi Corbeanu in the 97th minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, UPB FC's goal looked a bit too open when Petrică Grindeanu came free, but Vintilă Minda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
