An unexpectedly hard shot by Sever Axinte in the 12th minute of play forced Sofriceni's goalkeeper Sebastian Bogza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Răzvan Gherasescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Sebastian Bogza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Răzvan Gherasescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Sebastian Bogza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Răzvan Gherasescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Phoenix Seini -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Gherasescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Bogza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastian Bogza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Mustățea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Phoenix Seini -MM-'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vasile Luțu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bernardo Melani who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Virgil Neghină when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Ilie Mustățea came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Phoenix Seini -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilie Mustățea couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Phoenix Seini -MM- had played much better football throughout.
