After 3 minutes of play, Dezesti CF's Gigel Dordea made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cătălin Pancu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 11 played minutes CFR Cluj MZ got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Donecea. Gigel Dordea scored 3-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cătălin Pancu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Dezesti CF's Gigel Dordea in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CFR Cluj MZ's goalie prevented a goal. In the 21st minute, Ciprian Comăneci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augustin Oprișor struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ilie Dridu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CFR Cluj MZ. Mihnea Hăulică recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 minutes of play, Dezesti CF's Gigel Dordea made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cătălin Pancu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 36 minutes of play, Dezesti CF's Doru Mercea made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cătălin Pancu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cătălin Pancu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doru Mercea in the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, CFR Cluj MZ's goalkeeper Cătălin Pancu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doru Mercea. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcis Crăiță in the 41st minute of play forced CFR Cluj MZ's goalkeeper Cătălin Pancu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iacob Zgabei got free with Cătălin Pancu in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gigel Dordea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cătălin Pancu came out and tried to block the shot, but Gigel Dordea slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, CFR Cluj MZ's Augustin Oprișor got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augustin Oprișor to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Gigel Dordea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dezesti CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Gigel Dordea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Pancu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cătălin Pancu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornel Oroveanu in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Doru Mercea notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of CFR Cluj MZ's Cătălin Pancu. Cătălin Pancu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 64 minutes into the match, CFR Cluj MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Nichifor Ieremia came free, but Cătălin Pancu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CFR Cluj MZ's Cătălin Pancu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doru Mercea in the 65th minute of play. Cătălin Pancu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Dordea, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Doru Mercea notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of CFR Cluj MZ's Cătălin Pancu. Cătălin Pancu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th minute, Iacob Zgabei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cătălin Pancu was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. 73 minutes into the match, CFR Cluj MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Dordea came free, but Cătălin Pancu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cătălin Pancu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iacob Zgabei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciprian Comăneci's late challenge caught a CFR Cluj MZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciprian Comăneci helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Dezesti CF got a freekick which was hit by Ciprian Comăneci. In the 80th minute Gigel Dordea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Pancu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 played minutes CFR Cluj MZ got a freekick which was hit by Eric Ghiorman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Zgabei in the 82nd minute of play forced CFR Cluj MZ's goalkeeper Cătălin Pancu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12-0 became the score in the 86th minute when Iacob Zgabei elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Dezesti CF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
