The supporters of Dorneni booed when Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristide Cioroianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihăiţă Mititelu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0.
