The supporters of MIFA booed when Deyanhur Timisoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelu Moga didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nichifor Miclea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Deyanhur Timisoara defense, Patrick Bamford kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcel Vergulescu. The Deyanhur Timisoara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Vergulescu should have stopped the shot. Deyanhur Timisoara's Marcel Vergulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Deyanhur Timisoara from getting a goal against them. Ove Bergstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Moga in the 35th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moise Cutieru in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ove Bergstedt saved MIFA from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Nichifor Miclea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcel Vergulescu, 2-1. Octav Popeneciu charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octav Popeneciu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, Deyanhur Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Popeneciu to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Nichifor Miclea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Vergulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Octav Popeneciu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MIFA's Ove Bergstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Cutieru in the 55th minute of play. Ove Bergstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moise Cutieru in the 57th minute of the match. If Patrick Bamford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Deyanhur Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugur Arieșan to maneuver through the defense. Ove Bergstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Popeneciu in the 88th minute of the match. Nichifor Miclea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Patrick Bamford had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcel Vergulescu. Deyanhur Timisoara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrick Bamford was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Deyanhur Timisoara walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
