With a left leg Valentin Gorcea saved Gergelygeza from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Cordeni's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Reznic came free, but Corneliu Drăghici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogdan Barbă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corneliu Drăghici read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Gergelygeza's Valentin Gorcea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Patrichi in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Gergelygeza's Adam Reznic dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Emil Pantea kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Aron Patrichi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Gorcea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nistor Tudorache hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Bogdan Barbă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Mihail Druță notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Gergelygeza's Valentin Gorcea. Valentin Gorcea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Gergelygeza's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
