Aurel Dragomiroiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dan Mitescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Aurel Dragomiroiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gelu Frântu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A.C.Milan Iași's Aurel Dragomiroiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save A.C.Milan Iași from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Ilinca in the 44th minute of play forced Serediu's goalkeeper Mihai Ghișe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 49th minute, Moise Jienescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 50th minute Aristide Brădescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihai Ghișe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Serediu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gelu Frântu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Aurel Dragomiroiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Mitescu in the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to A.C.Milan Iași getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Sebastian Vornicescu hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Serediu's Dan Mitescu got a free kick in the 91st minute. Anton Negruț hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The supporters of Serediu booed when A.C.Milan Iași was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pompiliu Gagiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the A.C.Milan Iași players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Serediu.
