Spectators: 7756 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 156) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Octav Surdu got the match started through his kick off. Corneliu Drăghici came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Serediu's Octav Surdu. But to his dismay, Octav Surdu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Corneliu Drăghici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihăiţă Gușatu in the 9th minute of the match. 3-0 became the score in the 11th minute when Anton Negruț elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Corneliu Drăghici was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Octav Surdu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Octav Surdu really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Corneliu Drăghici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihăiţă Gușatu in the 21st minute of the match. Mihail Săndoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihai Ghișe having to interfere. Eliodor Gruescu's late challenge caught a Cordeni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliodor Gruescu helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Serediu got a freekick which was hit by Eliodor Gruescu. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

After 66 minutes of play, Serediu's Octav Surdu made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Corneliu Drăghici was left in no man's land by his defense there! Corneliu Drăghici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Surdu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 70th match minute, Cordeni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihail Săndoi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Negruț in the 74th minute of play forced Cordeni's goalkeeper Corneliu Drăghici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Cordeni defense, Cain Ares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corneliu Drăghici. The Cordeni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corneliu Drăghici should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Serediu had played much better football throughout.
