Gergelygeza's attentive Gigel Carp managed to snatch the ball when Ionică Ciulei made a throw-in in the 6th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Ilinca in the 8th minute of play forced Gergelygeza's goalkeeper Valentin Gorcea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vali Constantinescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Gorcea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gelu Frântu went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nistor Tudorache got free with Aurel Dragomiroiu in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, A.C.Milan Iași's Codrin Sava got a free kick in the 21st minute. Vali Constantinescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Valentin Gorcea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nistor Tudorache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valentin Gorcea came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by A.C.Milan Iași's Aristide Brădescu. But to his dismay, Aristide Brădescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Frântu in the 42nd minute of play forced Gergelygeza's goalkeeper Valentin Gorcea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurel Dragomiroiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogdan Barbă in the 44th minute. In the 45th match minute, Gergelygeza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vali Constantinescu to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Gorcea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragoş Ilinca in the 46th minute of the match. The Gergelygeza players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. A.C.Milan Iași were winning 0-3.

Valentin Gorcea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codrin Sava, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When Gergelygeza's Vali Constantinescu in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.C.Milan Iași's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Bogdan Barbă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gergelygeza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogdan Barbă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Valentin Gorcea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A.C.Milan Iași's attentive Sebastian Vornicescu managed to snatch the ball when Alex Moți made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. Valentin Gorcea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gelu Frântu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 73 minute of play. Aurel Dragomiroiu came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Gergelygeza's Bogdan Barbă. But to his dismay, Bogdan Barbă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. With a little luck, Gergelygeza's Valentin Gorcea got control of the ball when Aristide Brădescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valentin Gorcea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Frântu in the 83rd minute of play. When Ionel Pantilimon came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Gergelygeza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionel Pantilimon couldn't finish the play. Aurel Dragomiroiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Constantinescu in the 89th minute of play. Gergelygeza's Valentin Gorcea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Gergelygeza from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, A.C.Milan Iași's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Constantinescu came free, but Aurel Dragomiroiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gergelygeza booed when A.C.Milan Iași was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Vornicescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over A.C.Milan Iași could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gergelygeza throughout the match.
