Octav Surdu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serediu's Mihnea Giurgiu got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anton Negruț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Francisc Chirilă made a huge save. In the 10th minute, Anton Negruț left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Serediu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Mihnea Giurgiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisc Chirilă having to interfere. The supporters of Serediu booed when Tatarus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panait Obregia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sabin Pintea charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sabin Pintea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tatarus getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Sabin Pintea hit a great ball. After 22 minutes of play, Serediu's Mihnea Giurgiu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisc Chirilă was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Mihnea Giurgiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihnea Giurgiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Francisc Chirilă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serediu's Mihai Ghișe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niculae Berbec in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Mihnea Giurgiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serediu's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihnea Giurgiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisc Chirilă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Tatarus's zone, Mihnea Giurgiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisc Chirilă came out of the goal and Mihnea Giurgiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Octav Surdu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Tatarus getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Fabian Bulcă hit a great ball. Octav Surdu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Francisc Chirilă when he managed to save the team from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octav Surdu made a kick off. Francisc Chirilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Mitescu in the 53rd minute of play. When Serediu's Octav Surdu in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tatarus's goalie prevented a goal. Dacian Ghițulescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mihai Ghișe. Serediu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mihnea Giurgiu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 87thth minute of the game Octav Surdu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tatarus's Francisc Chirilă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Serediu fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Serediu's Octav Surdu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mihnea Giurgiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Francisc Chirilă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
