A.C.Milan Iași's Aurel Dragomiroiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Negrilă in the 27th minute of play. Lucian Voica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Brădescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A.C.Milan Iași's Aurel Dragomiroiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save A.C.Milan Iași from getting a goal against them. When Filip Negrilă fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VYCTORIA BV's protests and gave Filip Negrilă a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gelu Frântu got free with Lucian Voica in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
