An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Jianu in the 40th minute of play forced Das Team's goalkeeper Nae Verzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Das Team getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Corneliu Amarandei hit a great ball. Sever Văleanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Nae Verzea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th match minute, Das Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Rada to maneuver through the defense. If Leontin Pumnu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sever Văleanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nae Verzea having to interfere.
