Spectators: 7638 (Terracing: 5846, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tudor Pășcuțoiu kicked off to start the match. Leontin Mareș stood somewhat misplaced when Lento Phoenix came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 6 minute. Leontin Mareș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lento Phoenix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Nechifor kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. RETRO FC's Assis Doro took a good shot, in the 13th minute, which hit the crossbar above Leontin Mareș's head, and flew over the goal. Gologanu FC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by RETRO FC. RETRO FC's Rafael Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Florean in the 17th minute of play. Leontin Mareș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lento Phoenix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, RETRO FC's Lento Phoenix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leontin Mareș made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Gologanu FC's zone, Tudor Pășcuțoiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leontin Mareș came out of the goal and Tudor Pășcuțoiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafael Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucian Florean in the 34th minute of play. A hard shot 40 in the game by Tudor Pășcuțoiu from a close distance when the talented Leontin Mareș managed to make a qualified save. Gologanu FC's players were relieved. 44 minutes into the match, RETRO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucian Florean came free, but Rafael Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Lento Phoenix recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leontin Mareș. Lento Phoenix showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liviu Racoviceanu to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, RETRO FC's Calistrat Mereacre got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute Liviu Racoviceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Txatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Groșan in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Lento Phoenix managed to get in a good position for a shot. RETRO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lento Phoenix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leontin Mareș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lento Phoenix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Mareș having to interfere. Leontin Mareș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lento Phoenix in the 64th minute of the match. When RETRO FC's Lento Phoenix in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gologanu FC's goalie prevented a goal. 70 minutes into the match, Lento Phoenix had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leontin Mareș. Gologanu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lento Phoenix was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lento Phoenix in the 74th minute of play forced Gologanu FC's goalkeeper Leontin Mareș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Assis Doro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 78 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of RETRO FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gologanu FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 79 minutes, Gologanu FC's Dragoş Gănescu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rafael Txatxu. Lento Phoenix charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lento Phoenix the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th match minute, RETRO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lento Phoenix to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Racoviceanu in the 87th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marius Şendrea during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marius Şendrea kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Tudor Pășcuțoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RETRO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tudor Pășcuțoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucian Florean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rafael Txatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
