Emilian Bălanescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Rareș Harnagea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionuț Manolescus short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Rareș Harnagea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 7th minute, Ionuț Manolescu made a precise shot to the right of Rareș Harnagea. FC Rovers 72's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 9th minute of the match Marian Bitănescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rareș Harnagea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, FC Rovers 72's goal looked a bit too open when Emilian Bălanescu came free, but Rareș Harnagea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ionuț Manolescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gloria Buzău's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionuț Manolescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rareș Harnagea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 20 in the game by Ionuț Manolescu from a close distance when the talented Rareș Harnagea managed to make a qualified save. FC Rovers 72's players were relieved. Emilian Bălanescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rareș Harnagea having to interfere. In the 24th minute of the match Șerban Balaeț shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rareș Harnagea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 31 played minutes Gloria Buzău got a freekick which was hit by Luca Baștină. 32 minutes into the game, FC Rovers 72's Sever Văleanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciprian Butuc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Rareș Harnagea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Bălanescu in the 35th minute of the match. Cristian Jianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Butuc having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Cristian Jianu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Rovers 72 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 46th minute, Mircea Hreapcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilian Bălanescu to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FC Rovers 72's goal looked a bit too open when Emilian Bălanescu came free, but Rareș Harnagea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rareș Harnagea came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Gloria Buzău's Ionuț Manolescu. But to his dismay, Ionuț Manolescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Sever Văleanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sever Văleanu got free with Ciprian Butuc in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute Emilian Bălanescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rareș Harnagea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Jianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marian Bitănescu charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marian Bitănescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Rovers 72 booed when Gloria Buzău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Bitănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilian Bălanescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilian Bălanescu in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rareș Harnagea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ionuț Manolescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rareș Harnagea having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Rovers 72's Mădălin Slătineanu got a free kick in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilian Bălanescu in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rareș Harnagea saved FC Rovers 72 from getting behind. 83 minutes into the game, Gabriel Zăvoiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Rovers 72's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gloria Buzău the free kick. If Sever Văleanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ionuț Manolescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 92 minutes into the game, Ionuț Manolescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Rareș Harnagea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ionuț Manolescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute.
