Spectators: 7709 (Terracing: 5783, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) Tudor Pășcuțoiu made the kick off and thus started the match. Tudor Pășcuțoiu scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iurie Lamru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lento Phoenix in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iurie Lamru saved Dobarceni from getting behind. After 13 minutes of play, RETRO FC's Lento Phoenix made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iurie Lamru was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Dobarceni's zone, Lento Phoenix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iurie Lamru came out of the goal and Lento Phoenix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 minutes of play, RETRO FC's Lento Phoenix made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iurie Lamru was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, RETRO FC's goalkeeper Rafael Txatxu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandru Galiceanu. Iurie Lamru came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by RETRO FC's Lento Phoenix. But to his dismay, Lento Phoenix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. If Lento Phoenix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Tudor Pășcuțoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gelu Zbuchea was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lento Phoenix in the 56th minute of play forced Dobarceni's goalkeeper Iurie Lamru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lento Phoenix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iurie Lamru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Lento Phoenix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Iurie Lamru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lento Phoenix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Dobarceni's Iurie Lamru got control of the ball when Tudor Pășcuțoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dobarceni's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Lento Phoenix scored to the left of an out of position Iurie Lamru, making the score, 0-5. After 72 played minutes Dobarceni got a freekick which was hit by Rareș Petriceanu. When Lento Phoenix came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the RETRO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lento Phoenix couldn't finish the play. Tudor Pășcuțoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Iurie Lamru made a huge save. Octav Panțuru hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Tudor Pășcuțoiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iurie Lamru was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Lento Phoenix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iurie Lamru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. If Lento Phoenix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iurie Lamru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lento Phoenix in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, RETRO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gelu Zbuchea came free, but Rafael Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over RETRO FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dobarceni throughout the match.
