Tudor Pășcuțoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Eliodor Sârbu made a huge save. Lento Phoenix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliodor Sârbu having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, EMSZ.SE.2016.'s goalkeeper Eliodor Sârbu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tudor Pășcuțoiu. Ciprian Petrin hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, RETRO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Burdea came free, but Rafael Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tudor Pășcuțoiu got free with Eliodor Sârbu in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Lento Phoenix came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the RETRO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lento Phoenix couldn't finish the play. Eliodor Sârbu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lento Phoenix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lento Phoenix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliodor Sârbu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. RETRO FC's Tudor Pășcuțoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
