Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristian Jianu kicked off to start the match. Cristian Jianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Mareș having to interfere. Liviu Racoviceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Sever Văleanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Rovers 72's supporters rose to their feet, but Sever Văleanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leontin Mareș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leontin Mareș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Jianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Gologanu FC's Liviu Racoviceanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rareș Harnagea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rareș Harnagea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Racoviceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Dragoş Gănescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rareș Harnagea. Leontin Mareș was a little too slow when Cristian Jianu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Sever Văleanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leontin Mareș. Gologanu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sever Văleanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Cristian Jianu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

A collision led to Gologanu FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Anton Groșan hit a great ball. When Gologanu FC's Liviu Racoviceanu in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Rovers 72's goalie prevented a goal. Lucian Florean in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rareș Harnagea, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 68 in the game by Lucian Florean from a close distance when the talented Rareș Harnagea managed to make a qualified save. FC Rovers 72's players were relieved. Rareș Harnagea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Racoviceanu in the 71st minute of play. If Liviu Racoviceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Lucian Florean managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rareș Harnagea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucian Florean in the 79th minute. Leontin Mareș didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sever Văleanu went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of FC Rovers 72 booed when Gologanu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Groșan didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sever Văleanu in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leontin Mareș saved Gologanu FC from getting behind. Rareș Harnagea made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Lucian Florean sent off a good shot on target. FC Rovers 72's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
