In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind EMSZ.SE.2016.'s goalkeeper Eliodor Sârbu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eduardo Rivero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliodor Sârbu having to interfere. If Eduardo Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, EMSZ.SE.2016.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Rivero came free, but Eliodor Sârbu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Rivero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliodor Sârbu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Petru Milea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Vulturu.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Petru Milea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodor Zăvoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niculae Burdea, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Mugurel Iovanovici hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 30th minute, when EMSZ.SE.2016.'s Iacob Mascovescu after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Teodor Zăvoiu in F.C. Vulturu.'s goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Eduardo Rivero managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Vulturu.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Rivero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliodor Sârbu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Costică Lupșoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Petru Milea struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Eliodor Sârbu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Vulturu.. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduardo Rivero to strike the kick off in the second half. EMSZ.SE.2016.'s Eliodor Sârbu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Rivero in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Eduardo Rivero managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Vulturu.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Rivero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliodor Sârbu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 58 minutes into the game, Costică Lupșoiu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eliodor Sârbu. Costică Lupșoiu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Niculae Burdea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Zăvoiu having to interfere. Eduardo Rivero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliodor Sârbu having to make a save. 83 minutes into the match, Eduardo Rivero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliodor Sârbu. EMSZ.SE.2016.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Rivero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ernest Nica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The EMSZ.SE.2016. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. F.C. Vulturu. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
