Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Liviu Racoviceanu got the match started through his kick off. Leontin Mareș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicodim Pantilimon in the 14th minute of the match. Gologanu FC's Leontin Mareș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicodim Pantilimon in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gologanu FC's zone, Marcu Dobrotă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leontin Mareș came out of the goal and Marcu Dobrotă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucian Florean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Nae Tadici made a huge save. Aristide Brânzeu kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Nae Tadici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Racoviceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Gologanu FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Vlad Horea hit a great ball. In the 36th minute of the match, Liviu Racoviceanu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nae Tadici saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Marcu Dobrotă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 51st match minute, Gologanu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Nechifor to maneuver through the defense. Nae Tadici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Racoviceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anton Groșan during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Racoviceanu in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nae Tadici prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gologanu FC's Leontin Mareș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Horea in the 93rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Gologanu FC defense, Aristide Brânzeu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leontin Mareș. The Gologanu FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leontin Mareș should have stopped the shot.
