Panait Greculescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 12 minutes of play, RETRO FC's Lento Phoenix made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Panait Greculescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 18 minutes into the match, Lento Phoenix had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Panait Greculescu. OLIMPIA Pogoanele's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lento Phoenix was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After having played for 22 minutes, Lento Phoenix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RETRO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lento Phoenix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th match minute, RETRO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calistrat Mereacre to maneuver through the defense. Ionică Potocianu's late challenge caught a RETRO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ionică Potocianu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Ionică Potocianu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panait Greculescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lento Phoenix, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Doru Zbora hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The wind increased when Tudor Pășcuțoiu made the kick off in the second half. Rafael Txatxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionică Potocianu in the 54th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Lento Phoenix sped through OLIMPIA Pogoanele's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Panait Greculescu. After 61 played minutes OLIMPIA Pogoanele got a freekick which was hit by Nicolae Caranică. Panait Greculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lento Phoenix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tudor Pășcuțoiu struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Panait Greculescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RETRO FC. Lento Phoenix was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 72 minutes into the game, Calistrat Mereacre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RETRO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OLIMPIA Pogoanele the free kick. After a rather tough play, RETRO FC's Calistrat Mereacre got a free kick in the 72nd minute. OLIMPIA Pogoanele's Nicolae Caranică got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes in the game, Tudor Pășcuțoiu dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Valentin Damian's late challenge caught a RETRO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, RETRO FC's Assis Doro got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Gelu Baran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Txatxu having to make a save.
