The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Pacuraru got free with Rareș Harnagea in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Rovers 72's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Luca Horea scored to the left of an out of position Rareș Harnagea, making the score, 1-0. Rareș Harnagea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Horea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luca Horea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Rareș Harnagea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Luca Horea kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rareș Harnagea. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. After 22 played minutes FC Retezatul Hateg got a freekick which was hit by Aristide Brânzeu. In the 24th minute Cristian Jianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nae Tadici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Luca Horea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rareș Harnagea. Luca Horea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 31 minutes into the match, FC Rovers 72's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Horea came free, but Rareș Harnagea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes FC Rovers 72 got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Jianu. Rareș Harnagea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Horea, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Rovers 72's Mircea Hreapcă got a free kick in the 42nd minute. A collision led to FC Rovers 72 getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. The wind increased when Cristian Jianu made the kick off in the second half. Rareș Harnagea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicodim Pantilimon in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th match minute, FC Rovers 72 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Zăvoiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th match minute, FC Retezatul Hateg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Perișoară to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Cristian Jianu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nae Tadici, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in FC Retezatul Hateg's zone, Cristian Jianu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca Horea in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rareș Harnagea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute, Nicodim Pantilimon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mădălin Văleanu charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mădălin Văleanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stelian Măgureanu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sever Văleanu got free with Nae Tadici in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Retezatul Hateg walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
