Spectators: 7616 (Terracing: 5829, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tudor Pășcuțoiu kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the FC Retezatul Hateg defense, Tudor Pășcuțoiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nae Tadici. The FC Retezatul Hateg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nae Tadici should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Tudor Pășcuțoiu put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nae Tadici. 13 minutes into the game, Luca Horea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Retezatul Hateg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RETRO FC the free kick. After 13 played minutes FC Retezatul Hateg got a freekick which was hit by Luca Horea. Luca Horea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Txatxu having to interfere. In the 18th minute of the match, Lento Phoenix tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nae Tadici saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tudor Pășcuțoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Nae Tadici made a huge save. Tudor Pășcuțoiu scored 3-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nae Tadici, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the game, FC Retezatul Hateg's Luca Horea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafael Txatxu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Rafael Txatxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Pacuraru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, Tudor Pășcuțoiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Nae Tadici was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to RETRO FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Fabian Şiman hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Lento Phoenix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Luca Horea put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rafael Txatxu. Nae Tadici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lento Phoenix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luca Horea to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, RETRO FC's Ciprian Petrin got a free kick in the 51st minute. FC Retezatul Hateg's Cătălin Hristea got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Tudor Pășcuțoiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nae Tadici. FC Retezatul Hateg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tudor Pășcuțoiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Tudor Pășcuțoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luca Horea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nae Tadici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lento Phoenix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Laurențiu Bălcescu fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Retezatul Hateg's protests and gave Laurențiu Bălcescu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Retezatul Hateg's Laurențiu Bălcescu got a free kick in the 70th minute. After having played for 71 minutes, Assis Doro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RETRO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Assis Doro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, Lento Phoenix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RETRO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 7-2 when Lento Phoenix sped through FC Retezatul Hateg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nae Tadici. When Fabian Şiman was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. Calistrat Mereacre charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Calistrat Mereacre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Retezatul Hateg booed when RETRO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calistrat Mereacre didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the RETRO FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
