With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petrică Poplăcan in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toader Vasilian saved Prohozesti AS from getting behind. The supporters of Prohozesti AS booed when SC Ursul Brun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Garcon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Tudoran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Itoafă in the 29th minute of the match. With 30 minutes on the clock, Dorian Garcon commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Ursul Brun fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Prohozesti AS. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Mihăiţă Ologu managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Ursul Brun's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihăiţă Ologu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toader Vasilian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vasile Hreapcă struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Toader Vasilian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Ursul Brun. After a defensive mix-up in Prohozesti AS's zone, Mihăiţă Ologu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toader Vasilian came out of the goal and Mihăiţă Ologu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toader Vasilian made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Mihăiţă Ologu sent off a good shot on target. Prohozesti AS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Mihăiţă Ologu scored to the left of an out of position Toader Vasilian, making the score, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Irinel Magheran to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Leontin Jităreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prohozesti AS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leontin Jităreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Prohozesti AS to win.
