If Iacob Vâlcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Emil Tache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paiuseni's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Tache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toader Vasilian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Emil Tache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toader Vasilian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Petcu in the 38th minute of the match. Iacob Vâlcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Vasilian having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolae Hudiță during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Irinel Magheran to make the kick off. Paiuseni's Emil Tache got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toader Vasilian came out of the goal and Romeo Petcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iacob Vâlcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Vasilian having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Prohozesti AS's Calistrat Crețu got a free kick in the 69th minute. With a little luck, Prohozesti AS's Toader Vasilian got control of the ball when Emil Tache tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Prohozesti AS's Tiberiu Buciu in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Paiuseni booed when Prohozesti AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigore Cubleșan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Prohozesti AS's zone, Iacob Vâlcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toader Vasilian came out of the goal and Iacob Vâlcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iacob Vâlcu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toader Vasilian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Toader Vasilian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emil Tache in the 91st minute. Toader Vasilian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iacob Vâlcu in the 92nd minute of play. If Iacob Vâlcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prohozesti AS succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Paiuseni had controlled the match.
