Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Virgil Teodoroiu started the match with the kick off. Ionuț Petrean's late challenge caught a FC Super Fortuna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ionuț Petrean helped the player get up and apologised. Petrică Oardă kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Cătălin Arieșan hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Super Fortuna booed when -BZF- Rapiduletzu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codruț Obregia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Daniel Savu in the 15th minute really tested Iustinian Asachi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 17th minute Virgil Teodoroiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustinian Asachi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albin Frisk scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iustinian Asachi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iustinian Asachi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Frisk in the 28th minute of play. Adam Dimofte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Narcis Pantelimon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Dimofte, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. FC Super Fortuna's Constantin Claudiescu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Iustinian Asachi but with some difficulty. Ionică Iureș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Iustinian Asachi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Dimofte to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Albin Frisk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute, Virgil Teodoroiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgil Teodoroiu couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the game, Virgil Teodoroiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Iustinian Asachi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th match minute, FC Super Fortuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugur Martin to maneuver through the defense. FC Super Fortuna walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
