Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Silviu Topală made the kick off and thus started the match. When Ovidiu Pantelimon fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraschiveni AC's protests and gave Ovidiu Pantelimon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Ovidiu Pantelimon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Ursul Brun's Iustin Cocoș got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Paraschiveni AC's goalkeeper Romeo Dobre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alin Zgîrţa. The supporters of Paraschiveni AC booed when SC Ursul Brun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihai Maftei didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Iacob Ciuhandu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Valentin Tudoran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 18 minutes, Mihai Maftei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Ursul Brun and the Paraschiveni AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iacob Ciuhandu missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 19 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Valentin Tudoran right hand side. Valentin Tudoran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florin Boc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petrică Poplăcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeo Dobre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petrică Poplăcan's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Romeo Dobre came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Ursul Brun's Mihăiţă Ologu. But to his dismay, Mihăiţă Ologu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. SC Ursul Brun's Valentin Tudoran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Boc in the 33rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iacob Ciuhandu during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Paraschiveni AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iacob Ciuhandu to maneuver through the defense. Paraschiveni AC's Romeo Dobre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petrică Poplăcan in the 37th minute of play. Petrică Poplăcan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Constantin Arbore's late challenge caught a SC Ursul Brun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantin Arbore helped the player get up and apologised. After 49 played minutes Paraschiveni AC got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Arbore. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petrică Poplăcan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Vasile Baicu fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraschiveni AC's protests and gave Vasile Baicu a yellow card for diving instead. Vasile Baicu hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ovidiu Pantelimon kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Romeo Dobre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Cocoș in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Silviu Topală dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Valentin Tudoran, 1-2. After 66 minutes of play, Paraschiveni AC's Gigel Astafei made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Tudoran was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petrică Poplăcan in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Dobre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romeo Dobre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petrică Poplăcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iacob Ciuhandu got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 72 played minutes Paraschiveni AC got a freekick which was hit by Iacob Ciuhandu. After 75 played minutes SC Ursul Brun got a freekick which was hit by Vasile Hreapcă. After some careless play in the SC Ursul Brun defense, Florin Boc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentin Tudoran. The SC Ursul Brun fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentin Tudoran should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Paraschiveni AC's zone, Petrică Poplăcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Dobre came out of the goal and Petrică Poplăcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Florin Boc came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Paraschiveni AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florin Boc couldn't finish the play. Valentin Tudoran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Astafei in the 88th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, one of Paraschiveni AC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Iustin Cocoș shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Petrică Poplăcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Mihăiţă Ologu notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Paraschiveni AC's Romeo Dobre. Romeo Dobre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
