The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Dumitru Jucu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luca Ogășanu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. If Cătălin Finteșteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. -BZF- Rapiduletzu's Iustinian Asachi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Verzea in the 12th minute of play. Iustinian Asachi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Finteșteanu in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Claudiu Zbârnea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Cătălin Finteșteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustinian Asachi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Horaţiu Brătescu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of -BZF- Rapiduletzu's Iustinian Asachi. Iustinian Asachi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iustinian Asachi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cătălin Finteșteanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Petre Mustea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in -BZF- Rapiduletzu's zone, Cătălin Finteșteanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iustinian Asachi came out of the goal and Cătălin Finteșteanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horaţiu Brătescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Iustinian Asachi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. -BZF- Rapiduletzu's Iustinian Asachi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Brătescu in the 44th minute of play. Constantin Danciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute Horaţiu Brătescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustinian Asachi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cătălin Finteșteanu was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Horaţiu Brătescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NeverGiveUp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horaţiu Brătescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iustinian Asachi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cătălin Finteșteanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Luca Ogășanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vintilă Coraș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustinian Asachi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cătălin Finteșteanu in the 64th minute of play forced -BZF- Rapiduletzu's goalkeeper Iustinian Asachi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horaţiu Brătescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Iustinian Asachi made a huge save. Cătălin Finteșteanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, NeverGiveUp's Iustinian Asachi threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vintilă Coraș, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Iustinian Asachi made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Horaţiu Brătescu sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match Augustin Bucur came totally free in front of -BZF- Rapiduletzu's goalkeeper and smashed the ball just inside the right post. In the 77th minute of the match, Horaţiu Brătescu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Iustinian Asachi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 79 minutes of play, NeverGiveUp's Horaţiu Brătescu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iustinian Asachi was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Dimofte in the 83rd minute of play forced NeverGiveUp's goalkeeper Avram Nicea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, -BZF- Rapiduletzu's goalkeeper Iustinian Asachi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horaţiu Brătescu. 92 minutes into the match, Cătălin Finteșteanu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iustinian Asachi, 0-4. Dinu Brânza succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 95th playminute. NeverGiveUp played a much better game than -BZF- Rapiduletzu and deserved their victory. The -BZF- Rapiduletzu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
