When Iacob Vâlcu fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paiuseni's protests and gave Iacob Vâlcu a yellow card for diving instead. Valentin Tudoran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iacob Vâlcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Ursul Brun's Valentin Tudoran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save SC Ursul Brun from getting a goal against them. Valentin Tudoran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iacob Vâlcu in the 13th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Tache got free with Valentin Tudoran in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Romeo Petcu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 18 minutes had been played. Romeo Petcu kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Paiuseni's goal looked a bit too open when Petrică Poplăcan came free, but Dacian Gurzău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Petrică Poplăcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alin Zgîrţa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dacian Gurzău having to make a save. Dacian Gurzău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrică Poplăcan in the 27th minute of play. Emil Tache succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 30th playminute. After having played for 38 minutes, Alin Zgîrţa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Ursul Brun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alin Zgîrţa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iacob Vâlcu got free with Valentin Tudoran in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emil Tache was the one to do the kick off. Valentin Tudoran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Dijmărescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SC Ursul Brun booed when Paiuseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandu Codru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iacob Vâlcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Valentin Tudoran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Tudoran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iacob Vâlcu went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Viorel Dijmărescu hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. When Alin Zgîrţa came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the SC Ursul Brun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alin Zgîrţa couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the match, SC Ursul Brun's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Vâlcu came free, but Valentin Tudoran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viorel Dijmărescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Paiuseni's goal looked a bit too open when Petrică Poplăcan came free, but Dacian Gurzău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iacob Vâlcu was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Viorel Dijmărescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petrică Poplăcan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. SC Ursul Brun's Valentin Tudoran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viorel Dijmărescu in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Paiuseni fully deserved thier win.
