Răzvan Gâgea was a little too slow when Claudiu Pop got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. Răzvan Gâgea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurel Neaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Claudiu Pop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Blackbeard's zone, Aurel Neaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Răzvan Gâgea came out of the goal and Aurel Neaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petrică Pantiș during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Irinel Zburlea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 minutes of play, POMPIERII Bv.'s Aurel Neaga made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Răzvan Gâgea was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Blackbeard's goalkeeper Răzvan Gâgea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iulian Buhuș. Răzvan Gâgea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Pop, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Iulian Buhuș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, Blackbeard's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Pop came free, but Răzvan Gâgea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blackbeard's Răzvan Gâgea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Pop in the 42nd minute of play. Panait Bârlea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Maxim Zâncă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Virgil Tărâţă reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Răzvan Gâgea. The goal made the score 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Virgil Tărâţă to make the kick off. Răzvan Gâgea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Tărâţă in the 52nd minute of play. When Virgil Tărâţă, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 52 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Răzvan Gâgea was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurel Neaga during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Blackbeard booed when POMPIERII Bv. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurel Neaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, POMPIERII Bv.'s Maxim Zâncă got control of the ball when Panait Bârlea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Virgil Tărâţă took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Răzvan Gâgea. Răzvan Gâgea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Răzvan Gâgea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Buhuș in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Blackbeard's goalkeeper Răzvan Gâgea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Răzvan Gâgea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Tărâţă in the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Blackbeard's Irinel Zburlea got a free kick in the 65th minute. The audience was convinced that Iulian Buhuș's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Răzvan Gâgea was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Blackbeard's Răzvan Gâgea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Buhuș in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Enășoiu in the 75th minute of play forced Blackbeard's goalkeeper Răzvan Gâgea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Blackbeard defense, Virgil Tărâţă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Răzvan Gâgea. The Blackbeard fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Răzvan Gâgea should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iulian Buhuș in the 87th minute of play forced Blackbeard's goalkeeper Răzvan Gâgea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgil Tărâţă in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Răzvan Gâgea saved Blackbeard from getting behind. After 94 minutes of play, POMPIERII Bv.'s Aurel Neaga made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Răzvan Gâgea was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that POMPIERII Bv. were the better team. POMPIERII Bv.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
