Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Costin Goicea started the match with the kick off. Silvian Anghel came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Steaua's Alex Curtean. But to his dismay, Alex Curtean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Costin Goicea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvian Anghel having to interfere. With a little luck, Grindasi's Silvian Anghel got control of the ball when Virgil Nebunu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silvian Anghel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Curtean, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Silvian Anghel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iurie Jurca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Cordearo in the 17th minute of play forced FC Steaua's goalkeeper Rareș Dumitru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Barbu took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvian Anghel. Silvian Anghel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a little luck, Grindasi's Silvian Anghel got control of the ball when Virgil Nebunu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Silvian Anghel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC Steaua's Rareș Dumitru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Cordearo in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, FC Steaua's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Cordearo came free, but Rareș Dumitru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvian Anghel was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Iurie Jurca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iurie Jurca really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. 姜岚振 struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Rareș Dumitru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grindasi. Grindasi's Delmiro Cordearo got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvian Anghel was a little too slow when Iurie Jurca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 4-0. Iurie Jurca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Silvian Anghel came out and tried to block the shot, but Iurie Jurca slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 41st minute. Virgil Nebunu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Silvian Anghel made a huge save. Enéas Cavalcante's late challenge caught a FC Steaua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enéas Cavalcante helped the player get up and apologised. Enéas Cavalcante hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmiro Cordearo to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Delmiro Cordearo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Steaua's Rareș Dumitru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvian Anghel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Goicea in the 56th minute of the match. Silvian Anghel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iurie Jurca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Steaua booed when Grindasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Penescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmiro Cordearo took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rareș Dumitru. Rareș Dumitru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. After 77 played minutes FC Steaua got a freekick which was hit by Costin Goicea. Marin Romoşan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Rareș Dumitru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Delmiro Cordearo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grindasi's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmiro Cordearo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rareș Dumitru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Grindasi booed when FC Steaua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iurie Jurca didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmiro Cordearo in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rareș Dumitru saved FC Steaua from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Cordearo in the 90th minute of play forced FC Steaua's goalkeeper Rareș Dumitru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grindasi's 姜岚振 got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ion Oprișan in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rareș Dumitru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Steaua fully deserved thier win.
