Rafo Onesti's protests and gave Mihai Semeghin a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes C.S. Rafo Onesti got a freekick which was hit by Mihai Semeghin. Mauricio Palban charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauricio Palban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Mauricio Palban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Brusturoasa's George Brânza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexandru Cucerzan. That made the score 3-0 after 38 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Augustin Mailat made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Brusturoasa defense, Rosalio Rescuro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albert Chesaru. The Brusturoasa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albert Chesaru should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, C.S. Rafo Onesti's Romeo Teişanu got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Rosalio Rescuro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Augustin Mailat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, George Brânza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brusturoasa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. When Mauricio Palban came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the C.S. Rafo Onesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Palban couldn't finish the play. Albert Chesaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rareș Coja in the 73rd minute of the match. Rosalio Rescuro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Brânza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Brusturoasa's zone, Rosalio Rescuro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Chesaru came out of the goal and Rosalio Rescuro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Rareș Coja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.S. Rafo Onesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rareș Coja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Brusturoasa's goalkeeper Albert Chesaru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rosalio Rescuro. Romeo Teişanu's late challenge caught a Brusturoasa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romeo Teişanu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to C.S. Rafo Onesti getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Toader Capisizu hit a great ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Rareș Coja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.S. Rafo Onesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rareș Coja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brusturoasa fans cheered their team off the field, for while C.S. Rafo Onesti had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
