Mircea Ispir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Brânza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC BUCURESTI defense, Ionuț Mircescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mircea Ispir. The FC BUCURESTI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mircea Ispir should have stopped the shot. Mircea Ispir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Brânza, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Mircea Ispir didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augustin Mailat went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute Augustin Mailat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mircea Ispir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 played minutes Brusturoasa got a freekick which was hit by Marin Mălăele. Augustin Mailat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusebiu Corbu kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute of the match Nechifor Dănciulescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mircea Ispir showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gigi Huțanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Valeriu Vâtcu kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, George Brânza notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of FC BUCURESTI's Mircea Ispir. Mircea Ispir was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcu Fânaru during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcu Fânaru kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Brusturoasa's Ionuț Mircescu got a free kick in the 88th minute. Marcu Fânaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Mircea Ispir made a huge save. Brusturoasa played a much better game than FC BUCURESTI and deserved their victory. The FC BUCURESTI players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
