Romeo Teişanu charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Teişanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 17 minutes, Ionică Elenescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sighet CF -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ionică Elenescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionică Elenescu in the 18th minute of play forced C.S. Rafo Onesti's goalkeeper Alexandru Cucerzan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, Sighet CF -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Bitanu to maneuver through the defense. After 23 minutes, Irinel Moșoiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sighet CF -MM- and the C.S. Rafo Onesti players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes Sighet CF -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Irinel Moșoiu. Rosalio Rescuro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Fabian Donici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosalio Rescuro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Donici read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Alexandru Cucerzan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionică Elenescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Ionică Elenescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandru Cucerzan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosalio Rescuro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosalio Rescuro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Fabian Donici made a huge save. Rareș Coja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Donici having to interfere. When C.S. Rafo Onesti's Rosalio Rescuro in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sighet CF -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. Rosalio Rescuro hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ionică Elenescu was the one to do the kick off. Rosalio Rescuro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rosalio Rescuro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irinel Moșoiu was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rosalio Rescuro in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Donici saved Sighet CF -MM- from getting behind. Rareș Coja struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Fabian Donici didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.S. Rafo Onesti. If Mauricio Palban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 73 minutes, Rosalio Rescuro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.S. Rafo Onesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosalio Rescuro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Donici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rareș Coja in the 74th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusebiu Vâlceanu during the 81st minute. Romeo Teişanu kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Marin Arghirescu hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Eusebiu Vâlceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.S.
