The Prody Team - BTF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Călin Buricea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remus Lelescu to make the kick off. Eliodor Voica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Călin Buricea's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Claudiu Apetroaiei's late challenge caught a Rapid București 1923's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudiu Apetroaiei helped the player get up and apologised. Cutberto Reina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cutberto Reina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Eliodor Voica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Rapid București 1923's Nicolae Crăiță seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nicolae Crăiță the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rapid București 1923 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nicolae Crăiță had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rapid București 1923! Eliodor Voica made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When Călin Buricea came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Rapid București 1923 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Călin Buricea couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Nistor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Sabin Tutunaru made a huge save. Sabin Tutunaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Nediu in the 90th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Nicu Remus got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sabin Tutunaru quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 93rd minute, Leonard Medeleanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sabin Tutunaru. The goal made the score 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Irinel Nediu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sabin Tutunaru. That made the score 2-4 in the 96 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Prody Team - BTF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
