Spectators: 7152 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 152) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Martin Tănăsocă made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd match minute, Bobotesti AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosmin Bobailă to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Diudiu's Marius Rada tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Bobotesti AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Pătrășconiu came free, but Dinu Pânzaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Tănăsocă in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionică Tomoiu saved Diudiu from getting behind. In the 11th match minute, Diudiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Pătrășconiu to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Diudiu defense, Martin Tănăsocă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ionică Tomoiu. The Diudiu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ionică Tomoiu should have stopped the shot. Dinu Pânzaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Pătrășconiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bobotesti AFC booed when Diudiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugen Scaeru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Onbera was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Diudiu's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Tăbăcaru came free, but Ionică Tomoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionică Tomoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Tănăsocă, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Dan Pătrășconiu scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dinu Pânzaru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ionică Tomoiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernest Tăbăcaru's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Ionică Tomoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Tănăsocă, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ionică Tomoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Tănăsocă in the 41st minute of the match. Dan Pătrășconiu charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Pătrășconiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 played minutes Diudiu got a freekick which was hit by Dan Pătrășconiu. After having played for 43 minutes, Ernest Tăbăcaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bobotesti AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernest Tăbăcaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dan Pătrășconiu was the one to do the kick off. Martin Tănăsocă's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ionică Tomoiu firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Cosmin Bobailă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diudiu's Ionică Tomoiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Diudiu from getting a goal against them. Ionică Tomoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moise Grigorie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Pompiliu Mantoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd match minute, Diudiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Pătrășconiu to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Diudiu's Ionică Tomoiu got control of the ball when Martin Tănăsocă tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 69 minutes, Benjamin Onbera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bobotesti AFC and the Diudiu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ernest Tăbăcaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Tomoiu having to interfere. Ernest Tăbăcaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ionică Tomoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Martin Tănăsocă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ionică Tomoiu was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. The throw-in from Leonard Vlădoiu in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Diudiu's Lucrețiu Vladimirescu. Ionică Tomoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Tăbăcaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Diudiu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bobotesti AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
